From the 21st May 2023, passenger trains operate between Elwick and Grove Roads in Glenorchy, providing a 2km return train ride. Future stages will see us operate to the end of our track operating lease at Chigwell.

The Tasmanian Transport Museum has a formal lease agreement with the Tasmanian Government under the Strategic Infrastructure Corridors (Strategic and Recreational Use) Act 2016 for the rail corridor between Elwick Rd in Glenorchy and Mentmore St in Chigwell.

School group train rides operate on our short 400m Demonstration Track.
